Tide BlogHome
We write about development, whats new, FAQs, and whatever else#2 Why not blockchain?
Tide running on a blockchain network would have been very great!
But, we preferred using familiar systems such as Mpesa(despite higher operational costs(if compared to Ripple etc)) untill we find a suitable alternative.
#3 Platform fees
As it is run in the cloud, Tide has its own bills for items such as servers, the developers maintaining it and so on. The platform fees charged while funding project tasks help us cover these costs and in return a product for making products!
#4 Selling stake
Tide allows one to sell their allocated stake or some of it from a project which is a great way to go liquid in case you no-longer want to be part of a project. The fees are suggested by the system but the final figure is dictated by the owner of the said stake.
